We are looking for a 2IC to assist with our online shopping service and to lead the department in the absence of the Department Manager. Along with ensuring that the online shopping orders are completed in the appropriate times by our team, you will already have a good product knowledge of the range of items we sell, be process driven and be able to quickly learn and understand our process for fulfilling orders - yes we have a few tricks up our sleeve to speed up this process so being able to follow our game plan is the key.
When the Department Manager is absent you will fulfil the daily operational duties and provide direction and leadership to our team, so clear and inclusive communication skills are important.
You are on your feet all day and the role requires lifting and stacking of the totes and moving them around on the dollies between our staging area and the customer collection point so you need to be physically fit.
Days and hours of work will be discussed at interviews - a key requirement will be some flexibility to work different days or hours if the department has a need.
