Maintenance Supervisor (PVC Manufacturing)
We are seeking two highly experienced Industrial Maintenance Supervisors to support our manufacturing operations and strengthen plant reliability and performance.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining and improving the performance of production equipment, including PVC extrusion lines and associated plant systems.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support maintenance activities across electrical and mechanical systems
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programmes
Troubleshoot faults across extrusion lines, PLC systems, and automation
Coordinate with production to minimise downtime
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
Support installation, commissioning, and optimisation of plant equipment
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality systems
Skills & Experience RequiredMinimum 10 years’ experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance
At least 3 years’ hands-on experience in PVC pipe extrusion manufacturing (essential)
Strong capability in: Electrical systems and fault finding
PLC troubleshooting and automationMechanical maintenance in production environments
Experience leading or supervising maintenance teams
Experience working in continuous production environments
Ability to implement structured maintenance systems
PreferredQualification in Electrical Engineering or similar
Experience with extrusion equipment (e.g. KraussMaffei, Battenfeld, Cincinnati or similar)
Experience working within ISO-based quality systems
LocationBased at our manufacturing facility in Mercer.
