As a Mental Health Care Assistant, you will work alongside Registered Nurses to deliver safe, compassionate care, assist with daily activities, and contribute to a therapeutic setting that promotes wellbeing, dignity, and recovery.About the Team/Service/LocationTe Whare Maiangiangi Mental Health and Addictions Inpatient Unit at Tauranga Hospital provides care for individuals experiencing acute mental health needs.
The multidisciplinary team includes nurses, allied health professionals, and medical staff working together to deliver high quality, recovery focused care. The service is grounded in strong teamwork, support, and a shared commitment to improving outcomes for Tangata Whaiora.
