Duty Manager

We are looking for a Superstar Duty Manager who has the expertise to create a fresh, bright experience for every customer who walks through the doors in our restaurant.

Location:- Napier

• Hire, train and supervise staff.
• Ensure the environment within the restaurant is always top notch.
• Take responsibility for daily/ weekly procedures including ordering, receiving and stock take.
• Guarantee the customer journey for your restaurant is being followed by all team members.
• Lead your team, provide feedback and set a high example by always operating above the line.
• You should control of the whole kitchen operations and look after the kitchen team.
• Make sure quality of products, plus waiting times exceed expectation.
• Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget.
• Ensure that safety protocols in restaurant are in place (CCTV, Alarms) and working properly and also make sure that the liquor licensing are followed in the restaurant according to regulations.
• Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions.
• Must ensure that the restaurant do comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance.

• You should have at least a bachelors degree.
• You must have a 3 yr of experience in a relevant field.
• Flexible availability to work various shifts, including days, late evenings and weekends and public holidays.
• You should be friendly, patient and helpful.
• Good communication.
• The ability to multi-task.
• Knowledge of health, safety and food hygiene regulations and procedures.
• Good understanding of current licensing and employment laws
• Perform shift operations.
• An ability to work under pressure and deal with challenging situations.
• A Current LCQ Certificate & Duty Managers Certificate even, if you don't have we will help you get one.
