Waikato HospitalPermanent, Full-time (1.0 FTE) About the RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for a nurse to join our Care Capacity Demand Management (CCDM) and Releasing Time to Care (RTC) team. This role involves supporting and coordinating both programmes, making a real difference to safe staffing and the quality of patient care.

About the Team/Service/ LocationThe CCDM and RTC team consists of nurse coordinators led by the Deputy Chief Nurse, who holds the Safe Staffing portfolio.

Together, we implement, sustain, and evaluate CCDM and RTC programmes aligned with the strategic intent of the Office of the Chief Nurse. About youWe are looking for someone who has:Strong people skills, Presentation skills, time management, ability to prioritise competing demands.Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o WaitangiFamiliarity with TrendCare and CCDM principlesUnderstanding of RTC, experience with improving quality including change management.Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across the districtCompetency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth (mandatory)Experience in upholding Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and applying Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches in healthcare settings (mandatory) Working at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
