We are looking for a motivated and enthusiasticCleanerto joinDMS Pukepackon our night shift and work with the nicest people for the 2026 kiwifruit season!
At our packhouse, borders disappear. You'll work alongside people from all corners of the globe, sharing laughs, stories, and creating friendships that transcend cultures.
Every day, we enjoy delicious (and free!) kai together, prepared on-site by our wonderful canteen team. We also celebrate employee milestones and achievements with weekly prizes, canteen giveaways, and DMS clothing.
Work is available from early April to mid-June, with hourly rates starting at $27.00 per hour.
To be considered for a role, applicants must be 16 years or older and provide proof of identification, New Zealand work rights, an IRD number, and an active New Zealand bank account. Make sure to have these documents ready before starting your application.
Shift Times:
- Rimu NIGHT - 7:00PM to 6:00AM
- Matai NIGHT - 7:30PM to 6:30AM
The safety of our team is our top
priority. You’ll be working in a busy industrial environment with machinery, noise, and moving vehicles, so awareness and care are essential at all times.
About the Role
You will ensure to keep the packhouse clean, safe, and hygienic throughout the shift.Tasks will include laundry, cleaning toilets, wiping surfaces, vacuuming, mopping, refilling supplies, and supporting overall hygiene standards. Previous cleaning
experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Working in a cleaning role within our packhouse involves being on your feetfor long periods, often up to 10 hours a day. The role includes regular
physical activity and repetitive movements such as sweeping, scrubbing, lifting, and using cleaning equipment to maintain hygiene and cleanlinessstandards across the site.
