Our Tauranga branch is actively seeking an experienced Class 2 Delivery Driver to join our growing, supportive team that values hard work, collaboration, and a positive attitude.
Position snapshot:
- Location: Porutu Place, Tauriko, Tauranga
- Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Roster: Monday to Saturday (early starts from 5:00 AM to approx. 2:00 PM)
- Full-time employment with regular hours

About the Role
As a Delivery Driver at Service Foods, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their orders on time and in excellent condition. You’ll deliver a wide range of food products across Tauranga and the wider Bay of Plenty region, while providing outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate vans and trucks to transport goods
- Load and unload products securely
- Deliver orders accurately and on time
- Maintain delivery logs and documentation
- Interact professionally with clients
- Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations
- Report vehicle maintenance issues
- Assist with warehouse duties when needed
- Perform daily vehicle checks and cleaning
- Support dispatch and picking tasks as required
About You
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, customer-focused, and ready to hit the ground running.
You’ll need:
- A full Class 2 driver’s licence (manual driving required)
- Relevant driving experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good knowledge of Tauranga and BOP region
- Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure.
- Physically fit and capable of repetitive heavy lifting
- Clean driving and criminal record
- Reliable transport for commuting
- Basic knowledge of food ingredients is a plus
- A positive attitude and team spirit

To be considered, you must be a NZ citizen, permanent resident, or have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
