Employment Type: Full-Time (Minimum 30 hours per week)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking All Runner who can assist with both front-of-house and back-of-house operations. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and customer interaction.

• Take customer orders in person and over the phone with clear and polite communication
• Handle front counter tasks including cash and EFTPOS payments
• Assist in basic food preparation (e.g., chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients)
• Demonstrate good knife skills and the ability to use a wok for basic cooking when needed
• Pack takeaway orders quickly and accurately during busy periods
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in both the front and back areas
• Explain basic Chinese dishes, sauces, herbs, and cooking methods to customers when required
• Follow all food safety and hygiene practices as per New Zealand standards
• Work efficiently under pressure and communicate effectively with kitchen staff

• High school qualification or higher is required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fast learner, physically fit, and quick with hands
• Reliable, punctual, and with a positive work ethic
• Basic understanding of Chinese cuisine and ingredients
• Previous experience in a takeaway or restaurant environment is preferred
