About the role:As a Planit Quality Engineer you will demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for the testing activities at a project level, and be involved in the planning, monitoring, and control of the testing activities to a high standard of quality across single/multiple clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be involved with Test Planning, Analysis, Design, Estimation, Execution, Defect Management and Reporting. The role will see you performing the usual testing activities day to day to test the behaviour, functionality, and integrity of software programs.
  • Review requirements for testability
  • Consult with clients for user and systems requirements when documentation is insufficient
  • Determine test conditions/ test objectives
  • Create comprehensive test cases relevant to test conditions
  • Execute test cases and report results
  • Raise and close defects when necessary
  • Report results periodically to managers across the business

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Manage the defect process as required
  • Skills across numerous test levels, including System, UAT, and SIT
  • Able to work within a team responsible for the analysis and planning of large-scale projects
  • Ability to provide estimates for test resources (time, people, environments etc.) and create reports
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement abilities
