Water Division Civil Labourer
Our client is a recognised leader in civil infrastructure and they're looking for reliable Civil Labourers to join their busy Water Division Team in Waiwera. If you're wanting to build your experience in civil, gain new skills and get your foot in the door with a well respected company this role is for you!
Role Overview- Waiwera, Auckland
- 7:00am- 5:30pm (depending on project needs)
- Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays)
- $26 per hour
- Temporary with potential to go permanent for the right person
- Must have Full Class 1 Drivers Licence (essential)
- ASAP start!
- Assisting with water infrastructure projects across the region
- Moving, loading, and unloading materials, tools, and equipment
- Digging trenches, preparing work areas and performing general earthworks
- Helping with pipe installations, maintenance and repairs
- Supporting tradespeople and supervisors on daily tasks
- Operating site vehicles/machinery (if you hold the right tickets)
- Keeping the site clean, safe and well organised
- Following all health & safety procedures and wearing correct PPE
What We're Looking For
Ideal for people with:- Proven general labouring experience within the civil or construction industry
- Ability to work safely around live roads and on active worksites
- Good physical fitness and a positive, hardworking work ethic
- Reliability, punctuality and ability to work without constant supervision
- Experience in water, drainage or civil projects (big advantage)
- Bonus: WTR and/or Class 2 licences
- Work with a reputable company in the civil infrastructure sector
