Zoomtech is looking for an experienced Fitter / Machinist who can operate both manual and CNC mills and lathes to produce high precision components.

Zoomtech is Dunedin's leading creator, building products for automotive, dairy, marine, commercial, medical sectors and beyond. From 3D printing to large CNC's, no project is too big or small for them to manage. We're able to jump into your project at any stage from concept, through to design, tooling and manufacturing.

As an experienced Fitter / Machinist you will be operating regularly inside the niche of rapid prototyping utilizing your experience in the operation of both manual and CNC mills and lathes to complete a variety of high precision tasks

• Tradesperson or Journeyman with at least 3 years industry experience.
• Be able to interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience operating Manual and CNC Mills and Lathes
• Experience in using precision measuring equipment such as Vernier Calipers and micrometers.
• An eye for detail, this is a high precision workshop so ability to work to allowable tolerances is critical.
• Ability to think on your feet and adapt to varied situations and problem solve.
• Able to work autonomously and achieve desired results
• Has a clean full class 1 driver's licence.
• Can pass a drug and alcohol test.
