MTW is a major supplier of truck and trailer parts through-out New Zealand and is part of the Modern Transport Group of Companies.

We have a career opportunity within our sales team for a Truck & Trailer Parts Sales Representative based in the Waikato or Bay Of Plenty Region.

We are seeking to appoint a sales representative to grow the existing business and develop accounts throughout the Waikato & Bay of Plenty Region.

• Promotes and sells products and/or services via meet and greet, phone, and email to meet customer needs
• Communicating effectively to gain customer feedback to improve our products and services
• Seeking out new customers with a focus on Heavy Haulage & Trailer Manufacturing builds
• Travelling to metro and regional areas 5 days a week
• Assists with supplying Service Technicians with parts as required
• Works to exceed department & company standards and goals

• Experience with the sales process of parts required
• A solid understanding of the transport Industry & related areas.
• Competent in the use of electronic parts catalogs and quoting.
• Exceptional organizational skills, a positive attitude, excellent work ethic and being able to think on your feet.
• Full Class 1 license.
