Now, we're on the lookout for a hands-on, solutions-focused Operations Manager to take charge at Bonny Glen Landfill, a Class 1 site just 10km west of Marton in stunning rural Rangitikei. With Palmerston North only 40 minutes away and Whanganui just 20, it's an ideal base for exploring the Lower North Island.

The role
Bonny Glen has been through significant change and is now ready for a hands-on Operations Manager to lead daily operations and ensure safe, smooth, and compliant site performance.
You'll be responsible for:
- Overseeing daily site and construction activities
- Ensuring staff, plant and vehicles are ready and safe for duty
- Managing site compliance - health and safety, environmental and incident reporting
- Delivering on service commitments to customers and contracts
About You:
To thrive in this role, you'll bring:
- 3+ years' operational experience in landfill, extractives, civil or roading industries
- Competency in operating Class 2 - WTR machinery over 18 tonnes
- Proven team leadership in dynamic environments
- Strong understanding of environmental compliance and safety practices
- Solid financial and commercial acumen - including P&L management
- A confident, clear and engaging communication style
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Office software.
