As a vital part of our operations, you’ll be driving a Class 4 or Class 5 truck, delivering scrap metal to customers, and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Whether you’re experienced or eager to grow your career, this is a fantastic opportunity to work in a hands-on role with plenty of variety and responsibility!
The Truck Driver will be based at our Sydenham and is responsible for working safely and efficiently, including but not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:- Drive a Class 4 or Class 5 truck to deliver scrap metal.
- Load/Unload scrap metal and keep accurate delivery records.
- Maintain truck cleanliness and perform inspections.
- Follow all safety and traffic laws.
- Operate cranes and other equipment (if experienced).
- 1+ year of driving heavy vehicles.
- Class 5 license or equivalent required.
- Experience with cranes and Eroad preferred.
- Physically fit (able to lift up to 20kg).
- Must pass drug test and criminal checks.
