Ymak Civil Ltd is based in North Canterbury, we proudly specialize in a broad range of road barrier installation, maintenance and repair projects throughout the South Island.

This role is best suited to someone who is looking to make their way into the civil industry and has personal drive to develop and upskill within the industry. You need to be self motivated, hard working and have the ability to work as part of a team.

You will need to bring a positive attitude, the drive to bring your best everyday and be proud to work a solid week alongside some great guys.

This role includes:

• Assist with our road safety barrier installations and repairs installing wire rope and guardrail
• Hydro Excavation operation
• Excavator operation
• Truck Driving
• Machinary Maintenance and more
• Day Shift and Night Shifts
• Away work

Full training will be given for anyone who has no experience but the right attitude and willingness to learn.

About you - Skills and Requirements:

• A Full NZ Driver’s License with W,T,R Endorsements (or working towards) with reliable transport
• Class 2 License would be a bonus
• You are physically fit
• Reliable, honest and able to work on sites unsupervised and within a team environment
• Availability to work flexible hours and travel within the South Island
• A strong commitment to Health & Safety in the workplace
• Basic mechanical experience
