Fire Alarm Technician

Life Safety Services is a full service fire protection company providing fire engineered solutions for commercial and industrial sectors, covering all disciplines of Fire Detection, Prevention and Extinguishment. We bring years of combined experience in safeguarding people and buildings from fire.

Responsibilities include (not limited to):
  • Perform installation, repair and maintenance of fire alarm related systems/products/devices;
  • Perform services (including on-call) following manufacturer instructions, relevant NZ fire protection standards and company policies/processes;
  • Verify and select proper materials for assigned jobs per the job specs, follow up re materials in timely manner;
  • Arrange and prepare proper materials to be moved to/from the job site, and ensure customer's site is left clean and tidy;
  • Identify necessary changes of assigned jobs and advise the same to relevant staff to ensure changes are made correctly;
  • Record relevant detailed info for any jobs (in-progress and completed etc.) along with supports (photos and videos etc.);
  • Train other technicians when required.

(Note: weekly standby meal allowance (if on call) + call-out fees.)
