Evolve Ventures is excited to announce the opening of our brand-new Resource Recovery Centre in Te Awamutu on 1st September 2025 – and we’re looking for a dedicated Class 5 driver with W, T, R to join our passionate team!
About the Role:We’re seeking a skilled operator with a Class 5 licence to drive a hook bin truck and trailer to transport hook bin loads from the Resource Recovery Centre to Hampton Downs. The driver must have experience in truck and trailer driving. Experience in driving a hook truck is an advantage.
The driver would also be rostered to operate the loader/excavator to assist with the running of the Resource Recovery Centre.
What We’re Looking For:- Someone who can work both independently and collaboratively
- A strong commitment to reducing landfill waste
- Daily VCR checks and keeping the vehicle clean and tidy
- A genuine passion for recycling and sustainability
- Mechanical aptitude is a bonus!
- Pleasant aptitude, as you will be dealing with the Public
- Prepared to help out at the Resource Recovery Centre when required.
- Keeping the site tidy.
Important to Know: This is a six-day operation, so you must be available to work on a roster that includes weekends and public holidays.
