We’re seeking a reliable and experienced Gardener Subcontractor to support our garden maintenance team across Auckland. If you deliver quality work, communicate well, and enjoy independence on the job, this role is perfect for you.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for maintaining residential gardens with high attention to detail. Work includes:
Lawn mowing & edgingHedge trimming & pruning
Weed management
General garden tidy-ups
Planting & softscaping tasks
Seasonal garden care
This is a subcontractor role, so you’ll manage your own tools, vehicle, and time on site.
Requirements
Proven experience in garden maintenanceAble to work independently and meet quality standards
Strong communication and reliability
Physically fit for outdoor work
Own reliable vehicle
Full set of gardening tools
Valid driver’s licence
Highly Desirable
Strong plant knowledgeExperience servicing residential properties
Mulching / planting / softscape experience
Consistency, punctuality, and attention to detail
