THE ROLE
We're seeking an experienced Centre Administrator to be the organisational heartbeat of our centre. This is a hands-on role where your attention to detail and systems proficiency will directly support our teaching team and the whanau we serve.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Financial administration using XERO accounting software (accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations,
- Day-to-day administrative operations and record management
- Managing GSuite platform communications, calendars, and document collaboration
- Supporting student enrolment processes and maintaining accurate records
- Liaising with families, staff, and external stakeholders (Ministry of Education, funding bodies)
- Assisting with compliance documentation and reporting requirements
- Coordinating centre communications and general office management
- General Administration Duties
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Essential:- Proven proficiency in XERO accounting and payroll software
- Demonstrated experience with GSuite/Google Workspace platforms
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience in administrative roles (preferably within ECE or not-for-profit sectors)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Experience with student management platforms (e.g., Infocare, or similar ECE management
- Understanding of Ministry of Education ECE funding and compliance requirements
- Previous experience in early childhood or community sector administration
