Position Overview:

We are seeking experienced Carpenters to join our team in key regions, including Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Nelson, Marlborough, Canterbury, Otago, and Southland. This role will include travelling between the regions mentioned, working on a variety of commercial projects, and providing essential carpentry skills on-site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general carpentry tasks, including framing, roofing, and finishing work
  • Work collaboratively with project teams and other trades to meet project goals
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and meets regulatory requirements
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment
  • Troubleshoot and solve on-site issues efficiently
Skills and Qualifications:
  • You must either have:
o At least 3 years of relevant work experience OR

o Level 4 Qualification

Preferred Candidate must have:
  • Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations in New Zealand
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team
  • New Zealand driver’s license preferred but not essential
  • Willingness to travel based on project requirements
Terms and Conditions:
  • Minimum pay rate of $29.66; Maximum pay rate of $40 depending on experience
  • Minimum of 40 hours per week guaranteed. Maximum 60 hours per week.
