HVAC Service Technician

About the Role

You'll be responsible for servicing, repairing, and commissioning HVAC systems including VRV/VRF, chillers, and heat pumps. This role is hands-on, ideal for someone experienced in HVAC or looking to further develop their trade skills. You'll manage both electrical and mechanical components, conduct preventative maintenance, complete fault diagnostics, and respond to breakdowns, while ensuring all work meets high-quality, warranty, and safety standards.

• Service, repair, and commission commercial HVAC systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and fault diagnostics
• Manage both electrical and mechanical components of HVAC systems
• Respond promptly to emergency callouts and support the on-call roster
• Maintain accurate job records and complete tasks within allocated timeframes
• Provide excellent client service and foster strong working relationships

• Current EST license
• 5+ years' experience commercial HVAC servicing, repairs, and maintenance
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Positive attitude, professional approach, and ability to work well within a team
• Full NZ driver's licence and reliable transport
• Current New Zealand work rights
