Our main sites are Middlemore Hospital, Kidz First Hospital and Manukau Health Park.We are part of Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora, the overarching organisation for New Zealand’s national health service. HNZ leads the day-to-day running of the health system, with functions delivered at local, district, regional and national levels.

Assisting them with day-to-day tasks of caring for our patients, this is a unique opportunity for you to contribute to our vision of delivering quality patient care.We are looking for a Health Care Assistant to join our great team of highly skilled nurses in our Integrated Stroke Ward, Ward 35 East.
Ward 35 East is a 20 bed stroke ward with a 4 bed Hyper Acute Stroke Unit (HASU) within. We provide care for patients from the hyper acute phase to the acute phase of stroke as they transition to rehabilitation.The successful applicant will get the opportunity to work with different patients and families supporting the nurses.As a Health Care Assistant you will be required to provide clinical care to our patients.
