About the role:At Health New Zealand Counties Manukau, we pride ourselves on providing the highest quality of care to all of our patients. Health Care Assistants are our RNs right hand people. Assisting them with day-to-day tasks of caring for our patients, this is a unique opportunity for you to contribute to our vision of delivering quality patient care.We are looking for a Health Care Assistant to join our great team of highly skilled nurses in our Integrated Stroke Ward, Ward 35 East.

Ward 35 East is a 20 bed stroke ward with a 4 bed Hyper Acute Stroke Unit (HASU) within. We provide care for patients from the hyper acute phase to the acute phase of stroke as they transition to rehabilitation.The successful applicant will get the opportunity to work with different patients and families supporting the nurses.

As a Health Care Assistant you will be required to provide clinical care to our patients.
