Our Nelson team supports a wide range of local clients, from key infrastructure to community facilities, meaning no two shifts are the same. You’ll join a supportive team that values initiative, teamwork, and strong communication.

As a Security Officer in Nelson, you’ll help protect sites and facilities across the region.

• Monitoring and protecting sites across Nelson and Tasman
• Conducting patrols and responding to alarms
• Working independently and as part of a team
• Engaging with clients and members of the public
• Completing incident reports and safety checks
• Helping prevent vandalism, trespass, and antisocial behaviour
• Providing reassurance and safety for staff and the community

Shifts typically include evenings and overnight work, with casual and part-time opportunities available and the potential for full-time roles as the branch continues to grow.

• A full, clean NZ driver’s licence
• A clean criminal record
• Strong communication and people skills
• Confidence working independently or in a team environment
• Good situational awareness and reliability
• A willingness to learn and develop your skills
• Residency in the Nelson / Tasman area

• Living Wage pay – $28.95 per hour
• NZQA Level 3 training to kick-start or grow your security career
