Chiropractic Assistant and Receptionist - Te Awamutu
Part time, 3 shifts per week
Example hours:- Monday 11am
- 5.30pm, Wednesday 8.30am
- 1pm, Friday 7.30am
- 1pm. Approximately 14-18 hours per week

Role Overview
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and supportive experience. This dual role combines front-desk reception and office duties with assisting the chiropractors in day-to-day operations.It is fast paced and needs a multi tasking legend!
Key Responsibilities- Greet patients warmly and manage check-ins and check-outs
- Schedule and confirm appointments, manage booking system
- Handle patient enquiries
- Process payments, manage accounts
- Process ACC claims paperwork
- Maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality
- Answer phone calls and emails in a professional manner
- Keep reception and clinic clean, welcoming and well-presented
- Co-ordinate the shift for streamlined workflow
- Assist 4 chiropractors, with needs throughout the shift
- Cliniko, Invoice Direct, Gmail, Canva, mailchimp, google doc savvy
- Help with the shared tasks of folding face cloths, baby blankets, vacuuming, cleaning up
- Multitasking between patients, chiropractors, phone calls, emails, ACC and clinic jobs
- To succeed in this role, you will bring a warm, professional and patient-focused manner
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- You must be able to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
- Computer literacy is a must, fast and competent on Mac
- Experience with cliniko, invoice direct, gmail, google drive, canva and mailchimp is of benefit and will attract a higher rate of pay
- A willingness and passion to learn about chiropractic care
- Reliability and punctuality and a proactive attitude
- Energy to get up and assist the chiropractors, direct the shift, be problem solving
- Previous experience in reception, administration or customer service is necessary. Experience in a chiropractic clinic is a major advantage
- Knowledge of ACC processes would also be beneficial
