Automotive Spray Painter
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Automotive Spray Painter to join our growing panel and paint workshop. This is a permanent, full-time role in a modern, well-equipped facility with steady workflow and a supportive team.
About the Role
You will be responsible for preparing and refinishing a wide range of vehicles to a high standard, working closely with our panel and refinishing team to deliver consistent, quality results.
Work Hours
Monday to Friday: 7:30am – 4:00pm
Overtime and weekend work available if required
Key Responsibilities
Mixing and matching paint colours accurately / Applying basecoat and clearcoat to a high-quality finish
Maintaining spray booth, tools, and equipment / Following job documentation using our body shop management system (training provided)
Keeping work areas clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety standards
Skills & Experience
Excellent colour-matching abilityMinimum 2–5 years’ experience as an automotive spray painter (NZ or overseas)
Strong knowledge of paint systems and refinishing techniques
High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Trade qualification preferred but not essential (experience considered)
Good communication skills and positive attitudeMust hold valid work rights or be eligible for visa support (for the right candidate)
What We Offer
Competitive hourly rate: $35–$40 per hour (negotiable based on experience) + Plus
40~50 hours per week
