Parts Assistant - Hamilton
Full Time | Monday to Friday
An exciting opportunity is available for a Parts Assistant / Parts Advisor to join a reputable and well-established company based in Hamilton.
We are looking for someone with good all-round experience within the automotive, agricultural, heavy diesel, or earthmoving equipment industries. Ideally, you will have previous experience working in a parts environment, however candidates with less experience and the right attitude will also be considered.
This role would suit someone who is organised, customer-focused, mechanically minded, and eager to build a long-term career within the industry.
Full training and support will be provided for the right candidate.

- Manage stock and inventory efficiently.
- Verify daily parts stock and process orders accurately.
- Provide professional advice regarding parts and pricing.
- Assist customers with parts enquiries and requests.
- Maintain strong product and parts knowledge.
- Answer phone enquiries and assist customers.
- Pick up orders when required.
- Pick, pack, and prepare parts orders for delivery.
- Process sales and other transactions.
- Monitor inventory levels and materials.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Assist with other duties as required.
- Experience within automotive, agriculture, heavy diesel, transport, or earthmoving industries preferred.
- Previous parts experience.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Good numerical and computer skills.
- Ability to learn new systems and processes.
- Experience using inventory or parts systems beneficial.
- Reliable, motivated, and a team player.
