Motor Mechanic

We are looking for 4 enthusiastic and energetic motor mechanics who are able to work independently and also as a team. Two years of relevant work experience to diagnose and find faults in petrol and diesel engines and repair hybrid engines is required for these positions.

A motor mechanic is able to repair, maintain and test motor vehicles and other internal combustion engines and related mechanical parts.

• Detect and diagnose faults in engines and parts,
• Dismantle, remove engines, transmissions, steering mechanisms,
• Maintain, test and repair motors and other mechanical parts of vehicles such as transmissions, suspensions, steering and brakes,
• Repair and replace worn out defective parts,
• Perform scheduled maintenance service,
• Reassess engines and parts after being repaired,
• Test and adjust mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance,
• Diagnose and test parts with the assistance of computers,
• Attend to break downs and
• any other duties assigned by Management.

• Required Hours of Work: 47 Hours
• Minimum Guaranteed Hours: 30 Hours
• Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5 pm,
• Saturdays: 9 am to 4 pm,
• Hourly Rate: $33.60
• Approximate Annual Wages of $69888.00 based on 40 hours per week.
• Place of work: 4115 Great North Road, Glen Eden, West Auckland.
