Smart Environmental Ltd works on behalf of local councils, businesses, and communities providing rubbish and recycling collections. Acquired by Blue Planet and with a large fleet of collection vehicles and line haul operations, our mission is to divert waste from landfill.
About the Role:
- Contract Type: Permanent Full-time
- Days of work: Monday-Friday
- Hours of work: 35 to 40 hours per week.
Key responsibilities:
- Ability to differentiate material types.
- Communicating with internal staff.
- Sorting and collating recyclable materials.
- Strong awareness of Health and safety
Skills and experience:
- Holds a NZ Class 2 driver’s license
- Forklift license - A wheels endorsement is desirable but not essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong hand eye co-ordination
