We are looking to grow our team of in-home caregivers to support us at home and in the community with our disabled (and very cool!) child.
They were right when they said it takes a village. You would be part of a team of carers, responsible for keeping chaos at bay and helping the household run smoothly.
Our special child has a significant disability and high medical needs. These medical needs are managed by our family members and nurses, but we do need more help and support. For the right carer, this job opportunity does have scope to progress into a more hands-on healthcare assistant position with on-the-job training available.
Your day would include...- General housekeeping and light cleaning.
- Sterilising and maintaining medical equipment (training provided).
- Basic food preparation - as much or little as you wish.
- Joining us for adventures and appointments.
- Unpacking and restocking medical supplies.
- Changing and bubble baths.
- Supporting mum with a home therapy program.
- Collecting groceries and prescriptions.
- This is not a childcare focused role, but there is fun to be had!
- No experience is required.
- Positive attitude, good values and initiative.
- Full drivers license and your own transport.
- Non-smoking or vaping.
- Nursing experience or training is a bonus but not required.
- On-the-job training in home healthcare.
- Flexibility around your family.
- Positive, caring and respectful family environment.

- One very cheeky "office" cat.
This is part-time. We are looking for 2 or 3 individuals to work 7am-1pm, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Monday and 4-6pm weekdays. If you are available for any, all or some of these shifts, please get in touch.
