Would you like to have a positive impact on the lives of whanau by supporting them to maintain their independence and quality of life?

We are currently seeking support workers to provide high quality homebased support services for people in their own homes.

Your focus will be to support people to live their best life as independently as they can.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing support with personal care and household tasks
  • Emotional support
  • Medication supervision
  • Meal preparation
Skills and Experience:
  • A passion to help people
  • Patience and kindness
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to work alternate weekends
  • A reliable car, mobile phone, and access to email.
Qualifications:
  • A certificate in Health and Wellbeing at level 2 is desirable but not essential as Tuwharetoa Health do support staff to achieve Health and Wellbeing qualifications at level 2 and beyond while employed.
