Heavy Diesel Mechanic - Tauranga [4 on 4 off]

**About the Role**
We’re seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair a wide range of heavy off-road machinery including loaders material handlers terminal tractors and forklifts. As a 24/7 operation we rely on our mechanical team to keep our stevedoring and logistics equipment running around the clock.
**Location:** Tauranga
**Status:** Base $43.60 p/h Full-time 4 on / 4 off roster working hours 4:00 AM - 4:00 PM
**Specific Responsibilities:**- Replacing / repairing machinery components
- Servicing machinery
- Diagnosing and repairing a variety of heavy loaders excavators forklifts & trucks
- Repairs to attachments grapples & log heads
- Relevant trade qualification and a minimum of three years of verified relevant experience required.
- Proven experience working on heavy vehicles and machinery.
- Solid understanding of hydraulic systems.
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Bring a positive can-do attitude to the role.
