Location: Canterbury Region, NZ Employment Type: Full-Time Pay Rate: $30–$36/hour (dependingon experience) Start Date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for plastering (cleaning, sanding, priming)
- Mix and apply plaster compounds to walls and ceilings
- Sand and smooth surfaces ready for painting or finishing
- Collaborate with other trades on-site
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Minimum 5 years of interior plastering experience
- Must be well-versed in all components of plastering, including both new construction and
- Painting experience is a strong advantage – some painting work may be required
- Must hold a valid driver’s license
- Well-mannered, well-presented, and professional in conduct
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Weekend work and out-of-standard-hours projects may be required – flexibility is essential
