Digital Photography Instructor – Landscape
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Instruction
Deliver engaging online courses, virtual classes, and in-person workshops in:
Landscape photography
Architectural photography
Colour science and advanced colour grading
Composition, lighting, and visual storytelling
Camera operation (DSLR, mirrorless, mobile) and field techniques
Provide personalised demonstrations, feedback, and critique.
Adapt teaching styles for beginners, hobbyists, and advanced learners.
Course & Curriculum Development
Develop lesson plans, learning materials, video modules, and field-project assignments.
Create hands-on activities such as field shoots and editing challenges.
Maintain up-to-date content aligned with current photography and post-production trends (Lightroom, Photoshop, Capture One, etc.).
Student Support & Assessment
Provide one-to-one coaching, portfolio guidance, and progress reviews.
Assess student work and offer targeted improvement strategies.
Support learners in building professional digital portfolios.
Workshop & Event Facilitation
Lead outdoor landscape shoots, urban photography walks, and studio editing sessions.
Ensure organised, safe, and productive learning environments.
Administration & Coordination
Manage schedules, attendance, communication, and class logistics.
Support promotional content for courses and student showcases.
Work with programme managers to enhance course quality and learner experience.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
A relevant bachelor’s degree OR 5+ years of relevant experience.
Proven digital photography experience, especially in landscape and architectural genres.
Strong editing and colour-grading skills (Lightroom, Photoshop, Capture One or similar).
Experience teaching or mentoring in a structured learning environment.
Ability to design engaging learning content for online and in-person delivery.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
A passion for helping others develop creative skills.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
