About the RoleAs a Registered Nurse Triage (District Nursing), you will be responsible for triaging all referrals to the district nursing service across Waikato District, with the aim of improving quality, efficiency and standardisation of referral acceptance into the service.

Key responsibilities:Being the single point of contact for referrers, as weil as receiving and triaging referrals into the serviceLiaise with the referrer to improve quality of referral information and work closely with the team at the community referral centreLiaise with District Nursing teams and CNMs across the districtReview current process and systems and work to improve efficienciesCollect data and provide regular reports The salary for this position will be based on experience and in line with the [NZNO MECA] agreement.
