This role is based at Greenlane Clinical Centre and is a permanent position between 0.8- 1FTE (32-40 hours/week) depending on candidate preference. Our service supports hospital speciality clinics and services such as cardiology, respiratory and heart and lung transplant, and we also those referred from General Practices with the Auckland catchment areaThis key role is an ideal opportunity for an experienced physiotherapist wanting to develop their leadership capabilities and advance their skills in:Implementing evidence-based practice and service developmentMotivating, guiding and developing junior staff and physiotherapy studentsClinical expertise and leadershipSupport equity of health outcomes by incorporating processes into practice that reduce inequitiesThis role will also see you performing the below duties:Manage a clinical caseload while supporting with day to day coordination and leadership for a team of approximately six physiotherapistsYou will also have an opportunity to play an active role in quality improvement, staff and service developmentWork collaboratively with a range of professional groups in a multidisciplinary bicultural environmentSupport equity of health outcomes by incorporating processes into practice that reduce inequitiesProvide preceptorship to static and rotational staffParticipate in our weekend and on-call rosterAbout the TeamOur team is made up of passionate and supportive Physiotherapists motivated to improve the quality of life and health outcomes of the communities we serve.Our Cardiorespiratory outpatient team is made of up 6 physiotherapists- An Advanced Clinician, 1 Senior, 3 static physiotherapists and 1 rotational.
