Machine Operator – Fixed Term 6 Months - No experience required
Looking for a hands-on role with training provided? The Roofing Store is hiring a Machine Operator to join our team in Petone! If you’re reliable, enthusiastic, and ready to get stuck in, we’ll train you to operate our roll forming machinery.
The role:- Operating the roll forming machine and preparing steel for manufacturing - Training is provided!
- Completing paperwork with high accuracy.
- Quality control and packaging orders.
- Follow Health & Safety protocols and general housekeeping duties
- Reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic individuals.
- A commitment to showing up every day and giving 100% to all tasks.
- Physical fitness for hands-on work and manual steel handling.
- Reliable transport, great attendance is a must! A strong work ethic.
- A team player that takes pride in the work you do.
- A current fork hoist license & gantry crane – Ideal but not essential.
- Day shift, 7:30am – 12:00pm, Monday to Friday - Flexibility required.
- Opportunity for additional hours based on workload.
- Fixed Term - 6 Months
- Location: Petone, Lower Hutt.
