About the Role At Timaru Hospitalour pharmacists do much more than dispense medicines. In fact, as anintegral member of a broad multi-disciplinary clinical service team, you'llenjoy active clinical involvement.Our Pharmacy team isinvolved in the provision of clinical pharmacy services, medicinesreconciliation, medicines information, patient counselling, on call servicesand inpatient and outpatient dispensing and you will become an integral memberof the clinical pharmacy team.About you The role alsorequires a high standard of pharmacy practice to oversee pharmacy operationalduties including medication stock management, dispensing, non-sterilecompounding, general dispensary and administrative duties.

You will beself-motivated, accountable, efficient, accurate and meticulous, a team playerwith excellent communication skills. Ideally you will have soundexperience in a community or hospital pharmacy. Hospital experiencewould be an advantage, but it is not essential as training would be provided.We are eager to develop a closer connection with community pharmacies andtherefore having a community background would also be considered of value.

If you haveexcellent time management, planning, and organisational skills as well ashaving good communication skills, are a quick learner and be able to perform inan accurate and precise manner, then we look forward to yourapplication.
