Senior Fixed Asset and Project Accountant
  • Provide expert advice to project managers and budget holders· Maintain the integrity and accuracy of asset and project financial information· Coordinate reporting requirements for investment and asset related returns Play a key role as a key financial partner, ensuring seamless collaboration between Finance, Enterprise Connection and the business on capital assets and projects.
About the role
  • Kōrero mō te tūranga The Senior Fixed Asset and Project Accountant serves as the primary financial liaison for the Ministry's capital assets and projects, ensuring efficient financial processes, integrity, and strategic financial oversight.

The full salary range for this role is $124,674 and $168,676 total remuneration, inclusive of our 3% KiwiSaver employer contribution.

We'd like to hear from you if you are an experienced finance expert with the following skills and experience:
  • A tertiary qualification in finance· Demonstrated recent relevant work experience
  • at least 8 years· The ability to translate financial concepts into easy-to-understand language· Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills· Understanding of The Treaty of Waitangi/Te Tiriti, Te Reo Māori and Māori customs and protocols would be beneficial.
