Out of hours, the Duty Nurse Manager also provides first line facility management.This is a dynamic senior leadership role that interacts and liaises with multiple teams across Te Whatu Ora Taranaki to ensure and optimize patient flow and resourcing of areas as well as responding to and leading multiple other demands.Please click here to view the position descriptionAbout the Team/Service/ LocationOur Integrated Operations Centre team works together with the Duty Manager at the heart of decision making and leadership. Within our team we have a range of people and services as well as close working relationships with all hospital departments.For more information on living and working in Taranaki click hereAbout youAre you a positive and proactive Registered Nurse with the following attributes:Significant (more than 5 years) experience with extensive broad based clinical experience in acute medical and surgical nursingPrevious leadership experience, preferably of a ward or inpatient unit Expert or senior nurse PDRP (or endorsed as working at this level)Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to deal with conflict, listening and valuing the views of othersAbility to cope in crisis situations both clinical and non-clinicalknowledge of CCDM and TrendcareOther skills, education and experience as per the job description and a keenness to learn and grow Working at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
