About the Role
Are you looking for some extra hours and the flexibility that a casual contract can offer? Tauranga and Whakatane Hospitals are looking for an experienced casual occupational therapist to work across rehabilitation, inpatient and community teams.
The allied health teams are experienced and friendly teams who work together to support each other, to provide the best outcome for our clients. This position offers the opportunity to work across the acute rehabilitation team, inpatient (medical, surgical, orthopaedics, ICU/ACU, paediatric wards, emergency department and community occupational therapy services as required.

About you
You will be:
- New Zealand registered Occupational Therapist with preferably experience in rehabilitation and acute inpatient/hospital settings
- Able to work autonomously and collaboratively
- Have excellent clinical and problem solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with health professionals, health agencies, tangata Whaiora/clients and whanau
You will preferably hold accreditation for enable funding in personal care, household management and basic housing. Wheeled mobility and postural support level 1 would be an advantage.
