Garland Engineering 2020 Limited is a well-established company with two workshops located in Matamata and Tokoroa. We are looking for a trade qualified or experienced welder fabricator to join our Matamata workshop.
The work is varied and incorporates repairs on a range of machinery, new builds, truck and trailer maintenance, LT400 repairs, general engineering and more.
Experience & Qualifications:- Trade Qualified (Heavy Fab Level 4) - Not a must but at least 5+ years trade experience
- Relevant work experience on MIG & ARC welding (MIG alloy would be an advantage)
- Hold a current NZ drivers license (Restricted Minimum)
- To work independently and efficiently to achieve time frames and quality
- Attention to detail and precision in measurements and fabrication
- Able to accurately read and interpret engineering drawings
- Ability to pass AS/NZ Weld tests
- Commitment to health and safety
- Motivated and keen to be a part of a hardworking team
