  • ordination of assigned clinical trials to achieve maximum recruitment,patient screening and compliance with high quality data reported in a timelyfashion.As part of the busy team, you will be responsible forproviding and overseeing nursing care, and the coordination of care to Oncologypatients participating in clinical trials.
You will support the sponsor andclinicians with the tasks associated with the implementation and compliancewith protocols and guidelines for the clinical trial.
You will assist andsupport your Canterbury Oncology Research Unit (CORU) team members, Oncologyclinical staff as well as patients and their families with information, educationand assistance regarding specific clinical trials.About the ServiceCanterbury Oncology Research Unit (CORU) is an integral part of theOncology service employing 8 staff members who coordinate research in oncology.CORU works closely with other clinical teams to make a difference in people
  • slives by working on cutting edge trials.Our team has an internationalreputation with most of our trials being part of worldwide research.

The teamis based at Manawa building and has facilities in the Oncology department inChristchurch hospital.About youResearch experience or advanced Oncology knowledgeA relevant graduate and post-graduate qualificationExcellent communication skills and time managementAbility to work in a small busy multi-disciplinary teamResilient and AdaptiveHonest and CourageousRegistered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC)Working at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
