As a Qualified Marine Electrician, you will be responsible for the expert installation, meticulous maintenance, and precise repair of electrical systems on a diverse range of marine vessels. • Installing, maintaining, and repairing complex electrical systems and equipment on boats, yachts, and other marine craft.
• Diagnosing and meticulously troubleshooting intricate electrical faults and malfunctions.
• Performing routine inspections and proactive preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Working proficiently with various marine electrical components including sophisticated navigation systems, advanced communication systems, robust power generation units, and precise propulsion control systems.
• Ensuring all work strictly adheres to industry standards, best practices, and rigorous safety regulations.
• Accurately reading and interpreting detailed electrical schematics and blueprints.

• Proven experience as a Qualified Marine Electrician is essential.
• Recognised trade qualification in electrical engineering or marine electronics (e.g., NZQA Level 4 Marine *Electrical, or equivalent international qualification).
