What we're looking for:
Supportive, inclusive team culture
- Available 24/7 for urgent callouts mostly from 5pm - 8a.m
- Available to travel for work within central Hawkes Bay region
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is essential.
- Knowledge of basic construction techniques and practices.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods.
- Ability to follow plans and execute to a high standard of workmanship
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Operating basic construction equipment and tools
- Possess multi-trade skills
- Experience in gibbing and finishing, carpentry, concrete and plastering, installation of locks and hardware
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Estimating and invoicing
- Basic computer literacy, ability to use technology and applications to complete daily tasks
- Driver's license
- Drug free
- Consent to MOJ check
What we offer: $30 – $36 per hour, depending on experience
