Excavator Operator - Central Otago - Alexandra
We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team at Paul Smith Earthmoving 2002 Limited.
This full-time role is based in Queenstown, Central Otago, and will see you operating a range of excavators on construction developments within the region. Your key focus will be on delivering high-quality and efficient excavation work to support the successful completion of our clients' projects.
What you'll be doing- Operate excavators and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently on construction sites
- Carry out excavation work to prepare sites for construction and infrastructure projects
- Load and unload materials and equipment using the excavator
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the excavator to ensure optimal performance
- Work collaboratively with the wider construction team to achieve project goals
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Minimum 2 years' experience as an Excavator Operator in the construction industry
- Proven ability to operate excavators and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with the wider team
- Commitment to high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
