Blenheim - COOK ( Indian Cuisine )
We have one positions available for immediate start.
Reporting to Chef, these hands-on role will involve but is not limited to: -- Working as an integral member of the F&B team to achieve a profitable food and beverage operation
-- Ensuring compliance with all food safety regulations and food standards— Ordering, Receiving and properly storing the stocks
— Preparing Indian Curries, Tandoori Indian Breads, Tandoori Kebabs , Indian Starters, Biryanis, Indian Chutneys, Indian Desserts etc .. and presenting dishes as per the requirement of the dish, ensuring excellent and consistent meals are delivered to guests all the time.
— Maintaining high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety throughout the kitchen, storage and Bin area at all times
— Portioning foods to minimise food and supply waste
The successful applicant for the position must : -- At least 3 years relevant experience or a relevant qualification
-- Be able to work under pressure in a very Busy environment-- Flexibility to work within a 7-Days a week operation including split shifts
-- Be able to work in a team and take direction from supervisors
-- Have good interpersonal and communication skills
— Have a Can do attitude and good work ethic
