Experienced Tree Feller Machine Operator Ticketed

We are looking for someone who is an experienced, ticketed, drug and alcohol free tree feller and machine operator (loader and skidder).
We are harvesting our own block of 62 hectares of trees so you would be working with 1 or 2 others. The block is located in Manutuke so only a short trip from the city. We envisage it will take at least 2 years to complete. We will not be harvesting in the middle of winter.

This period will be dictated by the weather.
You need to be:- ticketed and able to fell trees, work on the skid site and on machines.
- able to pass Random Drug and Alcohol tests and follow our health and safety requirements.
- reliable and punctual
- able to follow instructions and also think for yourself
- take pride in your work and look after equipment and machines
- willing to pitch in where needed with general forestry jobs
