Augustine is a NZ owned high end woman’s fashion label that offers collections full of colour, fun and gorgeous special occasion and luxe daywear. We are a fast paced work environment with a total 5 retail stores and 9 labels with new drops arriving every week.
We are on the lookout for a Warehouse Assistant with high attention to detail and a positive can-do attitude to join our busy team.
This role is based at our warehouse in Mt Wellington, working Monday to Friday 7.00am to 3.30pm.
ABOUT YOU- High attention to detail is a must
- Previous warehouse experience is preferrable
- Previous fashion industry experience is beneficial
- A positive can-do attitude
- Flexible and thrives in a fast paced environment
- Ability to problem solve and use initiative
- Computer savvy to work with our systems
- A team player, must be able to work collaboratively with others as well as work on independently
- Sound English written and verbal communication skills
- Results driven, must be focussed and motivated to work hard during busy spells to meet tight deadlines
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Warehouse Assistant you will be accountable for delivering the highest quality products to our valued customers through accurate and timely receipting in stock, quality control checking and dispatching orders.
Key responsibilities include,- Unpacking and receipting in garment shipments
- Quality checking garments removal of excess threads, check for marks or fabric faults
- Pick and pack orders for online and wholesale customers as well as our Augustine retail stores
- Order picker experience preferred
- Order accuracy - check garments picked match order style, size and quantities
- Packing and couriering orders
- Daily housekeeping tasks including tidying to maintain warehouse standards
- Following processes and procedures accurately and within timeframe.
- Ability to lift or move boxes up to 25kg in weight
