You'll work with complex and diverse datasets to deliver timely, accurate, and insightful reporting that supports parliamentary responses, Official Information Act (OIA) requests, media enquiries, strategic initiatives, and operational performance monitoring.You'll collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across Health NZ, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Disabled People, Cancer Control Agency, and other partners to develop customer-focused reporting, dashboards, and data visualisations that inform policy, planning, and service delivery.We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, uncovering insights in data, and communicating complex information in a clear and meaningful way.

You'll be comfortable working with complex datasets, managing competing priorities, and presenting insights to a range of audiences.You will ideally have:• A relevant tertiary qualification in data science, statistics, business insights, analytics, or a related field• 3-5 years' experience in a similar analytical or reporting role within a large organisation• Strong experience using analytical and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Qlik, SQL, and Excel• The ability to interpret complex business requirements and translate them into meaningful reporting solutions• Experience developing dashboards, reports, and data visualisations that support decision-making• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain insights clearly to both technical and non- technical audiences• A collaborative approach and experience working with a wide range of stakeholdersWorking at Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
