- Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About the roleThis role will effectively contribute to the smooth running of the Emergency Department service by providing an efficient and timely administrative support function that is responsive and flexible to the changing needs of the service/organisation.
Hours for this role will be performed Monday to Sunday in accordance with the 24 hour roster.Our Emergency Department is an exceptionally busy service and provides care for thousands of attendees every year.
We have a triage area, a rapid assessment area, dedicated resuscitation areas, acute, sub-acute and paediatric cubicles.Our department carries out all acute care, including full patient resuscitation facilities, management of trauma, fractures, injuries etc.
The ED's vision is to be a centre of clinical care and customer service excellence.
